Treatment of hot-knife fumes

In this forge, the fumes generated by hot forging are treated by a suction and wet-dusting system. The Filtres Monnet unit filters the water containing the smoke residue, and supplies water at a controlled flow rate and pressure to the dust collector nozzles.

The installation took place in difficult conditions, right next to the hot stamping press, in a noisy, hot and particle-laden environment.
