Viscose is a synthetic fibre made from a natural material (90% cellulose) that offers good permeability. Composed of viscose fibre and a binder suitable for flat gravity filters. Industrial emulsions loaded with particles during machining or grinding flow through this media by simple gravity. Before the filter fabric clogs and the liquid stops flowing, a level sensor moves the roller forward to evacuate the dirty part and use a new clean part.

To increase the mechanical strength of the viscose fibre, we add the most widely produced synthetic fibre in the world: polyester. This technical compromise, from the 221 series, is used in small hydrostatic filters. The volume of a filtration tank, resting on the filter media, requires greater resistance.
For further information:
- Material: Viscose + Polyester
- Filtration threshold: 5 to 35 µ
- Grammage: 50 to 110 gr/m2
- Standard width (mm) :
- 500

For an even more mechanically resistant media, you can opt for a 100% polyester fibre from the P series. It can meet the requirements of an FMH XL hydrostatic filter from Filtres Monnet. What’s more, it is resistant to the high temperatures of coolants and the chemicals you may use in your surface treatment applications.

Filtreri’s NI series uses a non-woven media consolidated by needling. This additional process step adds fibre bridges between the different webs to reinforce them vertically. This needled polyester fibre is used for fine filtration of aqueous effluents for your lapping stages, for example.
For further information:
- Material: 100% Polyester
- Filtration threshold: 5 to 25 µ
- Grammage: 80 to 300 gr/m2
- Standard width (mm) :
- 500
- 700
- 1000
- 1500
- made to measure on request
- Binding method: thermal needling
Compatible filter machines:

Finally, the N series in 100% polypropylene fibre offers excellent chemical compatibility in the case of acid pH emulsions. This series resists abrasion from steel or stainless steel chips in machining oils following turning operations.
For further information:
- Material: 100% Polyester
- Filtration threshold: 10 to 40 µ
- Grammage: 30 to 100 gr/m2
- Standard width (mm) :
- 500
