Complete treatment and cooling solution for cast iron machining

The installation is based on two twin plants, each equipped with two SMD1300 magnetic separators and an FMH150G4 hydrostatic filter. Each unit delivers a flow rate of 2,250 l/min, giving a total capacity of 4,500 l/min, or 270 m3/h.

In addition to fluid treatment, the equipment incorporates oil removal and heat exchanger cooling functions, guaranteeing optimum performance tailored to our customer’s specific needs.

Given the specifications and the volume of the tank, the challenge was to be able to transport the machine to site. I proposed to the customer a double power plant with two twin units. The size, which was compatible with transport by standard lorry, meant that the installation could be carried out in good conditions, saving on transport costs. The result: a competitive price to everyone’s satisfaction.
